Ranking Every Modern Pokemon Game!
I'm gonna be ranking every single core modern Pokemon game from 2010 to present, this is my own opinion so please don't get offended, just kidding you're going to anyways because it's the fucking internet for God's sake. I'm also quickly mentioning that we're going to be talking about the base game and not the DLC, because we'll talk about the games by themselves. Both Let's Go games I have not yet played, so we're not going to talk about them. However, we're also going to be talking about the Gen 4 Remakes and Legends: Arceus. First and foremost, let's talk about... -Pokemon Black (2) and White (2) Now these four games are an easy S Tier, I am totally not just saying that because of me being blinded by nostalgia, actually that's probably what it is, but shuddup, okay? These games are perfect, the Unova region is a take on a more American style and has a few Pokemon species that actually are in America like Deerling, Sawsbuck, Joltik, Emolga, Tepig, Roggenrola, anything that

Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage is Damn Good
Car combat games have always been a pique interest for me because I am indeed a racing game guy. But when I wanna go barbaric by destroying other vehicles, I usually boot up car games that have weapons as the main focus and then I'd be blasting away from there. Twisted Metal would be the obvious one because it was a game series that I grew up with and would play when I needed to blow off some steam. Hot Wheels: Beat That! is more of a car combat racing game where you race with weapons instead of being an all-out arcade racer. These games would be my go-to if I needed something to relieve my stress, and they would feel very great when I was able to do that after getting riled up over something that could easily piss me off. But in recent years, there is a car combat racing game that seemed to take a lot of interest in that really made me enjoy such games even more... A game by an indie dev studio called Gamepires, Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage came to be. As you would probably guess

Megas return... I'm not getting Legends Z-A
...I hate having to make posts about this, I really do. And I didn't want to do this at all, but I have been given no other choice but to vent about this. With this whole reveal of Pokemon Legends: Z-A yesterday and Mega Evolution returning, I don't want anything to do with it now. I've had my own sour tastes and opinions with Mega Evolution fans in the past, especially with some in particular, I'll be getting into that momentarily, but... I just can't figure out what these guys have been smoking! Why are most of these Mega Evolution fanboys entitled little twats? Really, I cannot just say "I do not like Mega Evolution" without someone putting me down for it or hating on me! I don't understand why this happens! Why do people treat this whole gimmick like it's the most important thing in this entire franchise? Like, just for that alone, I'm not even gonna go near Legends: Z-A. I wasn't gonna get it because, well, Mega Evolution is returning and I just don't give a shit about it anyway

TCG Pocket: Will it Kill the Physical TCG?
Hello everyone, this is Speed Bump and welcome back to another criticism post. Today, I have an interesting topic to go over about the Pokemon Presents that happened this morning... and no, it's NOT about the new Legends game and Mega Evolution making a comeback, that is for a later time. Today (or tonight, if you will), I'm going to be going over the new mobile title called Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket which will be released later this year. This game brings back memories about Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links where your knowledge of the physical card game is on mobile devices now. In theory, this is an interesting idea because it's more efficient, convenient, seems to be very showy and flashy and stuff, and they really wanna take this new application seriously. But thinking about it more, one of my biggest fears is "Will this app now be the main way to collect and play the Pokemon TCG in the future?" That may be me just taking things out of proportion, but in all honesty, physical media is

HW Unleashed 2 - A Good Game with Bad Marketing
"A sequel that turned out good, but had marketing that really affected it's sales and playerbase." With the Pass 1 DLC in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged now over, the sales for the game still haven't been faring as well as the first game. Ever since it was first announced at the end of May 2023, the game's advertising was really lackluster, and it aimed for a tough release window of October 19th, 2023. The game did release a few trailers such as the Reveal Trailer, Gameplay Trailer, and even the Fast & Furious trailer. Many big streamers who were fans of the first game have been saying that either the second game is "too similar", or they just don't care about the sequel. On the other hand, the first game left a lot of people sour enough to where they don't want anything to do with the sequel because they think it's DLC is going to be the same as the first, to the point where they're going out of their way to tell others not to support it because they believe it's going to be

I F'ed Up - An Apology to Gamer Alex
Welp, I have some big explaining to do regarding the constructive criticisms I posted that involve racing games. If you guys know this show, you likely have already seen a few posts going over specific topics about racing games, and I had to take them down because they were actually originally by Gamer Alex, and not made by me. This will be a bit of a long apology, but it goes over the important bits. The first part is the plagiarific run of his video scripts that I uploaded on my Deviantart. I will admit that while I did try to word them in my own way, it didn't matter much in the long run because he still saw me do that. At the time, my disdain for him was a bit strong after his videos of complaining about Dangerous Driving. And like, 4 years later, he's mentioned that he was pessimistic about the arcade racing genre in his "The Racing Game Community Has Declined" video. At that point, I understood why. But as he was gaining more and more ground from his videos before that point

Pokemon Go Hates Everyone (Except the Wealthy)
Yeah, doing another constructive criticism on my page this soon! Unlike the last one I did, this one's gonna be so much longer, and there's no tl;dr version so you're just gonna have to read the whole thing from start to finish. Sorry, but I don't feel like doing that because there's a ton of stuff to go over. Too much to list in one compact summary. And judging by the title of this one, it's going to (hopefully) be my final post about Pokemon Go. I have driven this game to the ground so many fricken times already throughout these last couple of years, and for good reason. Because I have played and invested into it numerous times. And each time I played it makes me hate it more and more to the point where I have an assload of things to talk about what Niantic has been doing lately, even when I did quit on my previous account again, because I did actually hop back into it last year and then went back to quitting it, but... holy shit, I can't tell where to even start with this whole

Potential Gen 5 Remakes - Be Cautiously Optimistic
Hello, everyone. It's been quite a while since I've made a constructive criticism literature about Pokemon ever since Pokemon Unite getting a Prize Machine... yeah, I don't wanna talk about that game very much anymore, and it's not the main focus of this literature. This time, I have a topic that ISN'T about a Pokemon mobile game. What a surprise! What is it about this time? Well, it's going to be about the potential Gen 5 Remakes. Now with Pokemon Presents coming up in a month or so from now at the time of writing, the main thing I keep hearing about from a lot of random people I've talked to or reading random gaming news articles and what to expect from this year and the main thing that always keeps popping up is remakes for Pokemon Black & White. There are like, people hinting at it in the DLC for Scarlet and Violet, and people going like, "Oh, the Black and White bikes in Sword and Shield are a big hint" or something along the lines of that, but... Let's be real: why is anyone

AI Art Needs to Stop, Once and for All
This is something that I will never EVER find myself liking or approving, nor will I understand why this is a thing, and I'm very late to the party on this, so bear with me. If any of you guys can give me a better explanation of why this has to be a thing and why this would have any kind of value, then sound off in the comments section. Because this next topic is going to be about the dreaded AI Art. I personally thought that this was nothing more than a cheap, easy way to make stuff you're interested in, but I'll give other art programs this: at least when you make something in like, Paint Tool Sai, Paint.net, or even Photoshop, they're programs that you can actually put effort into, you can actually work on something from start to finish all by yourself if you just go at it and try to enhance your skills on what to add for what layer(s) need it to be, and it makes for some expansive options to make you become better with art! This shit on the other hand, you're basically just

Concerning Unleashed 2's Vehicle Cuts
Well, it's been a week and a half since the launch of Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged, exactly 11 days after it's release, and I couldn't help but notice that even though the Private Lobby count is reduced by two slots, the passable Creature Rampage Story, the Switch not being included in crossplay, low Track Builder space for each environment, and complaining about the price tag, tons of people and fans are enjoying the game regardless, myself included, I will admit that. It really is an improvement over the original and definitely worth your time if you can get it at a decent sale. They're still enjoying the content that is there, choosing whatever vehicles in the game they come across, and making them perform the way they want. They might've found their new favorite cars in this game, and likely turned into a fan of it because of how it looks or something. But, that's not the case with every single person, also including myself, who feel like some of our favorites have kind
